Learn about BHG's Editorial Process Published on November 22, 2021 Print Share Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Jason Donnelly Total Time: 20 mins Servings: 24 Yield: 24 sugar plums Jump to Nutrition Facts Ingredients ¾ cup whole pitted dried dates ¾ cup dried apricots ½ cup pecan halves, toasted ½ cup slivered almonds, toasted ½ cup dried plums (prunes) or dried stemmed figs ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom ⅛ teaspoon ground allspice 3 - 4 tablespoon honey ⅓ cup red, white, and/or green decorating sugar Directions In a food processor combine the first eight ingredients (through allspice). Cover and pulse until fruits and nuts are finely chopped. With the food processor running, drizzle in enough honey until the mixture comes together and is slightly moist. Using damp hands, roll mixture into balls, using 1 Tbsp. mixture per ball. Roll in decorating sugar. To Store Layer sugar plums between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
