Ingredients

  • Nonstick cooking spray

  • 1 8 ounce package refrigerated crescent dough sheet

  • 10 hot dogs

  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)

  • Ketchup, mustard, and/or barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Unroll crescent sheet out on a clean work surface. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut dough crosswise into 10 equal sized strips. Wrap each hot dog with one strip of dough, carefully stretching the dough as you wrap (it's okay to overlap), leaving a gap at one end for a "face", if desired.

  2. Place wrapped hot dogs on prepared baking sheet. Brush with melted butter or coat with additional cooking spray. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until dough is browned and hot dogs are heated through. Place ketchup, mustard or barbecue sauce in a small resealable plastic bag; snip one corner. Pipe eyes on each mummy dog. Serve with additional sauce.
