Directions

  1. Trim fat from meat. Cut meat into 1/2-inch slices; set aside.
  2. Pour cooking oil into a wok or medium nonstick skillet. (Add more oil as necessary during cooking.) Heat over medium-high heat. Stir-fry meat in hot oil for 5 to 7 minutes or until meat is done (160 degree F). Remove meat from wok.
  3. Add the wine to the hot wok. Reduce heat. Stir in the kumquats and hoisin sauce. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Return meat to wok; heat through. Stir in the green onion and sesame seed.
  4. To serve, spoon hot cooked brown rice into shallow bowls or onto dinner plates. Spoon the meat mixture over rice. Serve immediately. Makes 1 serving.
