Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef stew meat, cut into 3/4- to 1-inch cubes

  • 12 ounce small potatoes, peeled and quartered (about 2 cups)

  • 4 medium carrots, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (2 cups)

  • 1 1.75 ounce can condensed cream of potato soup

  • ½ cup water

  • 1 (1/2 of a 2.2-ounce package) beefy onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Line a 3-1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner. Combine meat, potatoes, and carrots in prepared cooker. In a bowl stir together condensed soup, water, and soup mix. Pour soup mixture over meat and vegetables in cooker.

  2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 8 to 9 hours or on high-heat setting for 4 to 4-1/2 hours. Makes 4 main-dish sevings (6 cups).
