Glazed Ham with Sweet Potatoes
- In a large skillet combine fresh sweet potatoes, if using, onions, and orange juice. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
- Stir together honey, water, cornstarch, orange peel, and allspice; add to skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add canned sweet potatoes, if using, to skillet.
- Carefully lay ham slice over vegetables in skillet. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until ham is heated through. Place ham on platter; spoon vegetables and sauce over ham. Makes 4 servings.
