Directions

  1. Place flank steak in a large self-sealing plastic bag set in a shallow dish. For marinade, combine soy sauce, the 1/4 cup orange juice, wine, mustard, oil, ginger, tomato paste, cumin, pepper, and garlic. Pour marinade over steak in bag. Seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to 8 hours.
  2. Drain, discarding marinade. Grill steak on rack of uncovered grill directly over medium coals until desired doneness. (Allow 12 to 14 minutes for medium.) Slice meat thinly across the grain. Makes 4 servings.
