Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon hot water

  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk, soy milk, or milk

  • Matcha powder (optional)

Directions

  1. In a 8- to 10- ounce mug, whisk together matcha powder, sugar, honey, and hot water until matcha is dissolved.

  2. In a small saucepan heat milk over medium heat until just boiling. Remove from heat and whisk until frothy.

  3. Using a spoon to hold back the froth, whisk hot milk into the green tea mixture. Top with milk froth and sprinkle with additional matcha powder if desired.
