In a 8- to 10- ounce mug, whisk together matcha powder, sugar, honey, and hot water until matcha is dissolved.
In a small saucepan heat milk over medium heat until just boiling. Remove from heat and whisk until frothy.
Using a spoon to hold back the froth, whisk hot milk into the green tea mixture. Top with milk froth and sprinkle with additional matcha powder if desired.
To make an iced latte: use cold milk and serve over ice
