Marinara-Poached Chicken

Directions

  1. Pour marinara sauce into a large skillet; warm over medium heat. Sprinkle skinless, boneless chicken breast halves with salt and ground black pepper. Add to skillet and turn to coat with sauce.
  2. Heat just until boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, about 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center (170 degrees F). If desired, top with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
