Learn about BHG's Editorial Process Published on January 1, 2020 Print Rate It Share Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Rebekah Photography Hands On Time: 15 mins Total Time: 35 mins Servings: 16 Yield: 4 cups Jump to Nutrition Facts Ingredients 1 cup pecan halves 1 cup walnut pieces 1 cup blanched hazelnuts* 1 cup raw cashews ¼ cup pure maple syrup 2 tablespoon olive or canola oil 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme 1 large clove garlic, minced ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) 1 tablespoon flaky sea salt Directions Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a shallow baking pan with foil. Spread nuts in an even layer in pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly toasted. Meanwhile, stir together maple syrup, oil, herbs, garlic, and if desired, cayenne. Remove nuts from oven. Pour syrup mixture over; toss well. Bake 10 minutes more, stirring once. Sprinkle with sea salt; stir. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Store covered at room temperature up to 5 days. If desired, in a skillet warm over medium-low to serve. Serves 16. * Or toast hazelnuts with skin in a 350°F oven for 7 minutes. Wrap in a kitchen towel and rub to remove skins.
