Macaroni 'n'Cheese

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water*; drain and rinse. Combine onion, milk, soup, and seasonings. Alternate layers of macaroni, soup, and cheese in greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F) about 45 minutes.

*TIp:

6 oz of dried pasta will work here. It doesn't have to say 7-minute on the box. Cook for the time the box directions states.

**Tip:

After testing, we suggest using condensed reduced-sodium cream of mushroom soup and omitting the salt.
