  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange pears, cut sides down, in a 2-quart rectangular baking dish. Add the next four ingredients (through orange zest). Roast, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes or until tender, spooning liquid over pears occasionally.

  • Transfer pears to serving dishes with some of the liquid. Stir together mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar. Spoon over pears; sprinkle with pistachios. If desired, drizzle with additional honey.
