Preheat an ungreased 15x10-inch baking pan in oven 5 minutes. Spread turnips in the hot pan. Drizzle with honey and melted butter; sprinkle with salt. Bake, uncovered, 35 to 40 minutes or until turnips are tender, stirring once. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with pepper and thyme. If desired, drizzle with additional honey.
