  • In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine candy coating, bittersweet chocolate, and hazelnut spread.

  • Cover and cook on low for 1 to 1/2 hours. Stir until smooth. Stir in pretzel sticks, chow mein noodles, and hazelnuts.

  • Drop candy by heaping spoonfuls onto two large baking sheets lined with waxed paper or foil. If desired, sprinkle with salt. Let stand 1 hour or until chocolate is set. If necessary, refrigerate haystacks for 30 minutes or until set. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
