Ham and Potato Soup with Chard

Directions

  1. In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker combine the first nine ingredients (through pepper).
  2. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours or on high for 5 hours. Stir in barley and Swiss chard. If using low, turn cooker to high. Cover and cook 20 minutes more.
