Learn about BHG's Editorial Process Published on September 24, 2021 Print Rate It Share Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Andy Lyons Ingredients 1 ½ pound bulk pork sausage 1 cup chopped onion (1 large) ¼ cup Gluten-Free Flour Mix 3 cup milk Salt and black pepper 2 teaspoon snipped fresh thyme Directions In a very large skillet cook 1 1/2 lbs. bulk pork sausage and 1 cup chopped onion over medium-high heat until meat is brown and onion is tender, using a wooden spoon to break up meat as it cooks. Do not drain. Sprinkle 1/4 cup Gluten-Free Flour Mix over meat mixture; stir into the meat mixture. While whisking, gradually add 3 cups milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in 2 tsp. snipped fresh thyme. Makes about 5 cups. Rate it Print
