Gingerbread Cookie Cake
- Stack cake layers on serving tray with frosting in between the layers. Very scantly frost the outside of the cake. Press gingerbread cut outs into the side of the cake. Top cake with additional gingerbread cut outs. Gently brush gingerbread cut outs with powdered sugar. Transfer remaining frosting to a piping bag fitted with a large open star tip and pipe frosting around the top of cake. Sprinkle cake with coarse sugar.
