Ginger Pork and Snow Pea Stir-Fry

Directions

  1. In a wok or 12-inch skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add meat and carrots; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add pea pods and sesame seeds; cook and stir 3 minutes. Add soy sauce, ginger, and, if desired, sesame oil; cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in plum sauce and the water; heat through.
  2. If desired, top servings with cilantro and/or crushed red pepper.

Tip

If desired, omit the carrots and add an additional 1 cup snow pea pods.

Serving Suggestion

If you like, serve over hot cooked quinoa, farro,or brown rice. You can purchase frozen cooked brown rice and heat it in the wok or skillet.
