Directions

  1. In a small saucepan combine the water, sugar, and ginger. Bring to boiling, stirring until sugar dissolves; reduce heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Cool ginger syrup to room temperature; strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a large punch bowl or pitcher combine the chilled ginger syrup, the pineapple juice, vodka, lemon juice, and lime juice. Stir in club soda. Add ice cubes and lime slices.
