Learn about BHG's Editorial Process Published on July 20, 2017 Print Rate It Share Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Jessica Merchant Prep Time: 5 mins Total Time: 5 mins Servings: 8 Ingredients Lemon slices (optional) Finely chopped crystallized ginger (optional) 3 tablespoon chopped crystallized ginger 5 12 ounce cans fruity wheat beer, chilled 4 cup ginger beer, chilled 8 big scoops of vanilla ice cream Directions If desired, wipe rims of eight 16-ounce beer glasses or mugs with a lemon slice; dip rims in finely chopped crystallized ginger. In a large pitcher, add the 3 tablespoons crystallized ginger. Muddle with a wooden spoon. Pour in fruity wheat beer and ginger beer; stir gently to combine. Serve in the chilled glasses or mugs. Top each glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream; before or after pouring works, just be prepared for a little foam. Garnish with lemon slices. Rate it Print
