Fired-Up Almonds

These toasted almonds get a delicious coating of brown sugar, ground chipotle chile pepper, and cinnamon. Done in just over a half hour, these almonds are the perfect quick snack to keep handy.

Fired-Up Almonds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 15x10-inch baking pan with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl whisk egg white until foamy. Add almonds; toss to coat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread nuts in prepared pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until nuts are toasted and appear dry, stirring twice. Remove from oven; stir again. Cool. Break up any large clusters.
