- In a storage container or bowl combine cream cheese and pesto sauce; stir until combined. Cover and chill until ready to serve or for up to 1 week. (To tote, pack in the storage container; chill on ice.) Let stand for 30 minutes for easier spreading. Stir the spread before spreading. Makes 1-1/2 cups (24, 1-tablespoon servings).
