Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, cook onion in butter about 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in chili, undrained tomatoes and green chili peppers, undrained chili peppers, picante sauce, and cumin. Add cheeses. Stir over medium-low heat until cheeses are melted. (If desired, transfer mixture to a 3-1/2- to 4-quart electric crockery cooker; keep warm on the low heat setting.) Serve with tortilla chips or large corn chips. Makes about twenty-eight 1/4-cup servings.
