Easy Marshmallow Frosting

Our simplified marshmallow frosting recipe uses purchased marshmallow crème so there's no melting of marshmallows needed for the bright white, sticky-sweet marshmallow fluff frosting that's ideal atop a s'mores cake.

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 13 ounce jar marshmallow creme

  • 1 tablespoon clear vanilla

  • 2 ½ cup powdered sugar


  1. In a large bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium for 30 seconds. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla. Beat until just combined. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until just combined.
