Condensed nacho cheese soup makes these simple slow cooker sandwiches irresistible.
In a 12-inch skillet or Dutch oven cook ground beef and onion over medium-high heat until meat is brown, using a wooden spoon to break up meat as it cooks. Drain off fat.
In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine meat mixture, soup, and catsup.
Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 4 1/2 hours or on high-heat setting for 2 hours. Serve meat mixture in toasted buns. If desired, garnish with pickles.
