Dutch Apple Pudding Cake
With its caramely apple pudding on the bottom and moist walnut cake layer on top, this dessert has an irresistibly homespun appeal.

For easy cleanup:
Line your slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner. Add ingredients as directed in recipe. Once your cake is finished cooking, spoon it out of your slow cooker. Once the food is out of your slow cooker liner, simply dispose of the liner. Note: Do not lift or transport the disposable liner with food inside.
Sweetened Whipped Cream
In a chilled small mixing bowl combine 1 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat with the chilled beaters of an electric mixer on medium to high speed just until stiff peaks form (tips stand straight). Do not overbeat.
