In a 3-1/2- or 4-quart electric crockery cooker combine vegetable juice, celery, brown sugar, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce.
Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours or on high-heat setting for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Discard celery. Ladle beverage into cups. Float a lemon half slice atop each serving, if desired. Makes 8 (6-ounce) servings.
