In a blender container combine herb, syrup, and water. Cover; blend until nearly smooth. With blender running, gradually add ice cubes through hole in lid, blending until slushy. To serve, pour into glasses and serve with lavender sprigs and/or lemon wedges. Makes 3 or 4 servings.
In a small saucepan combine sugar and water. Bring just to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool; cover and chill at least 1 hour before using. Makes about 1/3 cup.
