Mexican Hot Chocolate
Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne pepper with the remaining milk. Serve with long cinnamon sticks.
Raspberry Hot Chocolate
Stir in 1 tablespoon of raspberry liqueur to each mug. Serve with a skewer of fresh raspberries, if desired.
Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
Stir 1 tablespoon caramel sauce to each serving. Sprinkle with flaked sea salt. Top with marshmallows and additional caramel sauce.
Bourbon-Bacon Hot Chocolate
Stir 1 tablespoon bourbon or whiskey into each serving. Garnish with a bacon skewer.
