To make this refreshing sipper, choose your favorite citrus juice or a combination of two or more.
For syrup, combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, and boil gently for 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool about 20 minutes. Cover and chill syrup in refrigerator until serving time.
Pour syrup into a pitcher. Add chilled citrus juices and lemon or lime juice, if desired; stir well. Serve over ice and garnish with citrus slices. Makes 4 cups.
Cover and chill syrup up to 24 hours.
