Candy-Flavored Cocoa Mix
- For mix, in a medium bowl combine dry milk powder, powdered sugar, nondairy creamer, and cocoa powder. Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 3 months.
- For each gift, in a 2-1/2-cup container place half of the cocoa mix (1-1/3 cups) and 1 cup of the miniature marshmallows. Add more marshmallows if needed to fill container; seal container. Tie 2 peppermint sticks or 4 candy canes to top of each container with ribbon. Include a recipe for Candy-Flavored Cocoa with each gift. Makes 2 gifts (4 servings each).
From the Test Kitchen
For each serving, in a cup place 1/3 cup of the cocoa mix and some finely crushed peppermint candy. Add 3/4 cup boiling water. Stir well. Top with 1/4 cup of the miniature marshmallows. Sprinkle with additional finely crushed peppermint candy, if desired.
