Okay, so there's no actual fruit here, but just look how cute this donut recipe can be! Simply start with a glazed donut and decorate to look like pieces of kiwi, watermelon, or pineapple.

Ingredients

PINEAPPLE

  • 6 glazed donuts

  • 4 ounce green candy coating, melted

  • 8 ounce yellow candy coating, melted

  • 2 ounce white candy coating, melted

  • ¼ cup toasted, shredded coconut

WATERMELON

  • 6 glazed donuts

  • 8 ounce pink candy coating, melted

  • Green sugar

  • Mini chocolate chips

KIWI

  • 6 glazed donuts

  • 4 ounce green candy coating, melted

  • 4 ounce white candy coating, melted

  • 4 ounce green candy coating, melted

  • Mini chocolate chips

Directions

PINEAPPLE

  1. Transfer green candy coating to a small plastic bag. Snip off the end and pipe 6 leafy pineapple tops with a stem (to insert into the donut) on wax paper lined baking sheet. Let stand until dry.* (Alternatively, you could just use a little rosemary stem. . but who wants to eat that?)

  2. Dip donuts in yellow candy coating. Combine white candy coating with remaining yellow candy coating to create a light yellow. Transfer to a small plastic bag. Snip off end and pipe pineapple detail on donuts. Sprinkle with coconut. Let stand until dry.

WATERMELON

  1. Dip donuts in pink candy coating. Let stand until almost dry. Carefully dip outer edges of the pink coating on the donut into the green sugar to create watermelon rind. Decorate witht mini chocolate chips as seeds in the pink area only.

KIWI

  1. Combine 4 ounces green candy coating with 4 ounces white candy coating. Dip donuts in light green candy coating. Let stand until almost dry. Stir in 4 ounces green candy coating to remaining light green candy coating. Carefully dip outer edges of the light green coating on the donut into the dark green coating. Decorate with mini chocolate chips as seeds on the light green area only.
