DIY Cashew Milk
- In a bowl soak cashews in water for 6 to 24 hours. Drain cashews and discard water. Transfer drained cashews to a blender jar and add 3 cups fresh water. Blend until smooth and silky (about 2 minutes). Thin with up to 1 cup additional water if desired. You may also sweeten to taste by adding a tablespoon or two of pure maple syrup or sugar. Makes 4 cups.

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Shake well before serving.
