Directions

  1. In a 10- or 12-ounce baking dish combine water, apple (if desired), uncooked rice, green onion, dried fruit bits or raisins, almonds, margarine or butter, bouillon granules, and five-spice powder.
  2. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree F oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes 1 serving.
