- In a 2-quart rectangular baking dish stir together jam and orange juice. Place pears in dish, cut side down; spoon sauce over top. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.
- Serve warm in individual dessert dishes. Spoon sauce over pears. If desired, top with whipped cream and nutmeg. Makes 4 servings.

Prepare as above except assemble in a microwave-safe square baking dish. Microwave, covered, on 100% power (high) for 6 to 9 minutes or until pears are tender, rearragning pears once. Serve as above.
