  • Glue a skewer to the back of the foam bat or pumpkin. Let the glue dry.

  • To add the green twist to the pumpkin, wrap a 4-inch piece of chenille stem around a pencil. Use a paper punch to add a hole near the stem in the pumpkin. Push one end of the chenille stem through the hole and twist to secure. To make the coils at the bottom, wrap an entire chenille stem around a pencil. Slip the skewer into the coil. Gently pull the coil apart until it covers 2 to 3 inches of the skewer. Push skewer into the center of the cupcake top.
