Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 24 2-1/2-inch muffin cups with paper bake cups; set aside. Prepare cake mix according to package directions for cupcakes. Spoon batter into prepared cups, filling each about 1/2 to 2/3 full. Bake according to package. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from cups and cool completely.
For frosting, stir together the cream cheese frosting and spice. Spread over each cupcake. Use a serrated knife to cut each cookie in half. Insert the cut side of each cookie half into a cupcake.Makes: 24 cupcakes
