Creole Turkey Meatballs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan. In a large bowl combine the first nine ingredients (through garlic). Add turkey; mix well.
  2. Shape turkey mixture into 30 meatballs. Place meatballs in a single layer in the prepared baking pan.
  3. Bake, uncovered, about 25 minutes or until done (165 degrees F).*

Make-Ahead Directions:

Prepare as directed through Step 2. Cover and chill up to 24 hours. Uncover and bake as directed in Step 3.

*Test Kitchen Tip:

The internal color of a meatball is not a reliable doneness indicator. A poultry meatball cooked to 165 degrees F is safe, regardless of color. To measure the doneness of a meatball, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of the meatball.
