Combine cookie crumbs, nuts, the 1 cup powdered sugar, corn syrup, desired liqueur, and melted butter or margarine in a large mixing bowl. Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until well mixed.
Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar; cover. Let stand for 2 hours. Roll balls again in powdered sugar before serving. Chill in airtight container up to 2 days or freeze up to 2 weeks. Makes about 40 cookies.
