  • Line two cookie sheets with waxed paper; set aside. In a medium heavy saucepan cook and stir candy coating, chocolate pieces, and peanut butter over medium-low heat until mixture is melted and smooth. Remove from heat.

  • In a large bowl combine marshmallows and peanuts. Pour chocolate mixture over marshmallow mixture, stirring to coat. Drop mixture by heaping tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets. If desired, sprinkle with additional chopped honey-roasted peanuts. Chill about 1 hour or until set.

To Store:

Layer candy clusters between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

I was expecting it to be dairy-free, since it was presented under the heading of "Dairy free desserts," and was disappointed that it wasn't because of the inclusion of semi sweet chocolate chips. Perhaps you are aware of an uncommon brand that does not include milkfat or milk powder in the ingredients list. If that is the case, it would be helpful for you to include that particular brand of chips here in your recipe, so that we can make a truly dairy-free dessert. Otherwise, please consider excluding such a recipe in your list of dairy-free desserts.
