Chocolate Hazelnut Air-Fryer Turnovers

Buttery, light, and flaky, you'll love these air-fryer mini turnovers. The toasted hazelnuts add just the right amount of crunch. Be careful not to overcrowd the turnovers in your air fryer basket to keep them from sticking together.

12 mini turnovers

  • 1 frozen puff pastry sheet, (1/2 of a 17.3 ounce package), thawed

  • cup chocolate-hazelnut spread

  • 3 tablespoon chopped hazelnuts, toasted

  • 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water

  • Powdered sugar

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400*F. On a very lightly floured surface place puff pastry. Roll to 9x12-inch rectangle. With a sharp knife cut into 12 squares (3x3-inches). Place about 1 teaspoon chocolate-hazelnut spread in the center of each piece of puff pastry. Sprinkle with hazelnuts. Fold in half diagonally to form a triangle. Brush edges with egg mixture and press to seal.

  2. Arrange turnovers in a single layer in fryer basket. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until well browned. Repeat with any remaining turnovers. Cool turnovers on a rack. Dust with powdered sugar to serve.
