  • Line a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with foil, extending the foil over edges of pan. Butter foil; set pan aside. In a large heavy saucepan stir together sugar and corn syrup. Bring just to boiling, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted. Add cereal and marshmallows, stirring gently to coat.

  • Transfer mixture to the prepared baking pan. Press mixture very firmly and evenly into pan. Pour melted chocolate over cereal mixture, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with candy-coated pieces. Let stand about 20 minutes or until chocolate is set. Using the edges of the foil, lift uncut bars out of pan. Cut into bars.

To Store:

Layer bars between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week. Do not freeze.
