Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine mayonnaise and pepper. Stir in chicken and apple. To assemble sandwiches, place one lettuce leaf on 4 of the toasted bread slices. Top lettuce with tomato slices and bacon. Top bacon with another slice of bread. Top with remaining lettuce leaves; spoon chicken mixture atop lettuce. Top with remaining bread slices. Serve at once or wrap individual sandwiches in plastic wrap.
