  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a small bowl, stir together hoisin sauce, five-spice powder, and enough orange juice (1 to 2 tablespoons) to make a mixture for brushing. Place chicken on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Brush about half of the hoisin mixture over entire whole chicken.
