Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degree F. Let piecrusts stand at room temperature according to package directions. Meanwhile, for filling, in a large bowl stir together chicken, frozen vegetables, shredded cheese, and pasta sauce or barbecue sauce.
  2. Unfold piecrusts; cut each crust in half. Spoon one-fourth of the filling (about 3/4 cup) onto one half of each pie crust piece. Moisten edges of pie crust pieces with water. Fold each piecrust piece in half over filling to make a turnover. Seal edges of turnovers with the tines of a fork; prick tops. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  3. Brush turnovers with milk. Bake in preheated oven about 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Makes 4 servings.
