Chicken Tikka Masala

Directions

  1. In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker stir together the first 11 ingredients (through cumin). Stir in chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
  2. If using low, turn to high. In a bowl stir together the next four ingredients (through garam masala). Stir into chicken mixture. Cover and cook 30 minutes more. Serve chicken mixture over rice. Sprinkle with cilantro.

For Easy Cleanup:

Line your slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner. Add ingredients as directed in recipe. Once your dish is finished cooking, spoon the food out of your slow cooker and simply dispose of the liner. Do not lift or transport the disposable liner with food inside.

Naan is an Indian-style flatbread traditionally served warm with the meal. To warm, wrap it in foil and place in 350 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes or until heated through.
