Chicken Goulash with Peas and Caraway
In a large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add ground chicken and onion; cook until chicken is no longer pink, using a wooden spoon to break up chicken as it cooks.
In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine cooked chicken mixture, sweet peppers, broth, tomato sauce, sauerkraut, paprika, tomato paste, garlic, caraway seeds, marjoram, and black pepper. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high-heat setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Shortly before serving, cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Stir cooked macaroni and frozen peas into chicken mixture in cooker. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
