Charred Cherry Tomatoes

Serve charred tomatoes on top of steaks or as a stand alone grilled vegetable side dish. These grilled tomatoes require only five ingredients, and odds are most of them are already in your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 pound cherry tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

Directions

  1. Drizzle 1 Tablespoon olive oil over 2 pounds cherry tomatoes; sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon each kosher salt and black pepper. Grill in a hot cast-iron skillet 5 to 10 minutes or until charred and softened. Splash with red wine vinegar.
