Carrot Cake Smoothies

No high speed blender? No problem. Just start with steamed and cooled carrots instead of raw to easily mix up this cake-flavored smoothie recipe.

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1 cup milk or non-dairy milk

  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt

  • 1 frozen cut-up banana

  • 1 medium carrot, cooked

  • ¼ cup uncooked rolled oats

  • 2 tablespoon almond butter or sunflower seed butter


  1. In a blender combine all ingredients in order given. Cover and blend until smooth.
