Caramelized Onion Flatbread

Directions

  1. In a large skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and sugar; stir to coat. Cook about 20 minutes or until onions are browned and caramelized, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  2. Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Lightly grease a large baking sheet. Divide pizza dough in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each dough half into a 10x5-inch rectangle. Transfer rectangles to prepared baking sheet, placing them 2 inches apart.
  3. Divide caramelized onions and tomatoes evenly between dough rectangles. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until crust is golden brown and crisp.
