Candied Pecan Carrots
- In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker combine carrots, leeks, broth, and salt. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- If using low, turn to high. In a small bowl stir together honey, cornstarch, and ground cinnamon; stir into carrots. Cover and cook 45 minutes more or until thickened and bubbly. Sprinkle with candied pecans before serving.

Combine 1/4 cup chopped pecans with 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon chopped butter, and 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour. Bake on a foil-lined baking sheet in a 350 degrees F oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
For Easy Cleanup:
Line your slow cooker with a disposable slow cooker liner. Add ingredients as directed in recipe. Once your dish is finished cooking, spoon the food out of your slow cooker and simply dispose of the liner. Do not lift or transport the disposable liner with food inside.
